Both casein powder and whey protein powder have their benefits. Those that serious about maximizing muscle and strength gains would benefit from taking both. While WPI is better to take immediately after training, casein powder is better to take when you have a long time between meals or to maximise gains overnight. Casein will keep you feeling full for longer.
