Casein powder is very different to whey protein, so don’t expect it to taste the same as your usual WPI or WPC protein shake. Because casein naturally clumps together it feels thicker in the mouth, and it can sometimes feel a little lumpy. It is this texture that provides the point of difference of, and benefits of casein.
