Maltodextrin and Dextrose are both long chain carbohydrates, from a chemical perspective they are both different, but from a sports/training perspective they provide similar benefits for the athlete or body builder.
Waxy Maize on the other hand is low on the glycaemic index scale compared to Maltodextrin and Dextrose and is a semi-slow digesting source of carbohydrate.
