Both are good pre and post workout carb supplements and although both are similar in how they affect the body’s metabolism and digestion, Waxy Maize Starch supplements cause no bloating or gas side effects, and they are digested at a much higher rate than Dextrose. This said, Dextrose is also helpful in post workout repair; it just works slower, but it is slightly less expensive than Waxy Maize.
