Off all VPA supplements, our pre-workouts are the most likely to have minor side effects. These side effects are not harmful, but they are something to be aware of when considering if, and when, to take a pre-workout supplement.
Caffeine The caffeine content of PWO 200 is quite high at 200mg per serve. If taken too late in the day, the caffeine content may result in difficulties falling to sleep. If you are particularly sensitive to caffeine you could consider having a half dose or looking at our Pre-30 V2 supplement which has lower caffeine content.
Beta-alanine Beta-alanine is known to cause paraesthesia in some people, especially when taking beta-alanine after a period of time not doing so. Paraesthesia is a skin-tingling sensation, that some people describe as a feeling of insects crawling on them. It is common to feel this in the face or hands. This sensation is not harmful, and some people enjoy it, finding it switches them on for the workout ahead.
