High Protein Pumpkin Donut

This delicious high protein pumpkin donut recipe is perfect for the season. With a brilliant natural orange colour and taste from the pumpkin puree and added protein powder, these make a quick healthy breakfast or an anytime snack.
(Flour Free, Low Carb, No added Sugar)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup vanilla WPI
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 egg
Directions
- Steam your pumpkin until cooked through.
- Pre-heat the oven to 180º and spray your donut tray.
- Blitz all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
- Transfer to the donut tray.
- Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 12 minutes
- Enjoy your pumpkin donuts.
